Why are my plant leaves turning brown at the edges?
Crispy brown edges are almost always a water problem, though not always a watering problem. The four usual causes are dry air, letting the plant dry out between waterings, salt building up from too much feed, and chlorine or fluoride in tap water. Work through them in that order.

How humid should a closed terrarium be?
Closed terrariums planted with tropical species usually sit comfortably between 70 and 90 per cent humidity. A simple check with no kit: light misting on the lower third of the glass in the warm part of the day, then clear again overnight. Glass that streams without stopping means it is too wet.

Which plants grow well together in a terrarium?
Put together plants that want the same humidity, light and water, not plants that merely look good side by side. The most common failure is mixing a species that wants it wet with one that wants it dry, in which case one of them is always losing.
