The short version: the only things stored without asking are the ones the site needs to work. Anything else waits until you say yes, and you can change your mind whenever you like.

The three categories

Essential

The bare minimum for the site to function, including remembering the choice you make below. These are first party, and they are always on. Switching them off would mean forgetting that you asked us to switch things off.

Right now this is a single item in your browser's local storage called verdiqore_consent. It holds which categories you agreed to and when. It stays in your browser and is never attached to requests.

Analytics

Helps us see which pages get read, which guides answer the question and where people give up. We use Google Analytics for this. It sets its own cookies and processes data on Google's infrastructure, including outside your country.

Nothing analytics-related loads until you agree. If you decline, the scripts are never added to the page in the first place.

Marketing

Used to measure whether an advert actually brought someone here, and to show verdIQore to people likely to be interested. This may involve cookies or similar technology set by advertising platforms.

Same rule: it stays off unless you turn it on.

How the choice works

• Essential only loads nothing beyond what the site needs.
• Accept all allows every category above.
• Choose lets you allow some and not others.

Declining is exactly one click, the same as accepting. Whatever you pick, it is recorded with the date so we know what you agreed to and when.

Change your mind

You can change your choice at any time, and it applies immediately.

Review cookie choices

Clearing site data in your browser also removes the stored choice, and the notice will appear again on your next visit. Most browsers additionally let you block or delete cookies entirely, though some sites will stop working properly if you do.

If we add something new

If we introduce a category that did not exist when you chose, we will ask again rather than assume your previous answer covers it. Your earlier choice cannot be consent to something that was not on the list at the time.
