The system
Designed to disappear.
Plenty of people want something alive and unusual in the room and do not have an hour a day to spend on it. The work this does should stay out of sight: what you see is the ecosystem, not the thing keeping it going.

- Everything that runs the terrarium lives in one low box seated into the top. Not a collection of gadgets clipped around a tank.

- Sensors sit where they work, not where you have to look at them, and you can add more wherever you want a closer reading.

Water
Rain arrives when it should.
Watering a terrarium by hand is guesswork. Too much and it sours. Too little and it browns. This does it in small, measured amounts, on the rhythm the plants already know.

- When the profile calls for rain, it rains, and that is how the planting is watered.

- Onboard and watched, and it warns you before the level runs low.

No phone necessary.
The system has a screen and controls of its own. Walk up to it, see what the conditions are, change them, and get on with your day. Nothing to unlock, nothing to open, no app in the way.

The app widens the view: history going back weeks, checking in from somewhere else, the camera, and vIQ, the intelligence behind the whole thing. The difference is that the terrarium does not need any of that to keep doing its job.
Expand it
Add more where it matters.
From day one the system covers the terrarium as a whole. Soil probes add detail underneath, extra light and rain panels reach further across a bigger space, and a solar spotlight picks out whatever you want people to see. All of them are things you add when the planting asks for them, rather than upfront.
- One probe, one spot
- A probe reports the soil where it sits. Substrate is rarely uniform, and damp at the front while dry at the back is normal, so one reading only ever speaks for one part of it.
- As many probes as you need
- Add them over time and place them where the conditions differ. More points across the substrate means the picture the system works from is closer to the truth.
- More light and rain, if the space asks for it
- A long terrarium needs more than one panel to light and water it evenly. Add light and rain panels until the whole planting is covered, and the system runs them together as one.
- A spotlight on the plant worth looking at
- Stand it beside the one plant everybody should notice. It charges itself in daylight and comes on when the sun goes down, so the terrarium is still worth looking at after dark. Nothing to wire, nothing to pair, nothing to schedule.

Fit
Bring your own glass.
We make the system, not the tank. If you already keep a terrarium, this is the part that makes it look after itself. Measure the opening and in about ten seconds you will know whether it fits.
A cube, a cylinder, a hexagon, or the odd-shaped one you fell for years ago all work. The opening is the only thing that has to be right.
